Prep Highlights: Named Player of the Week both in 1999 and 1997. Listed in Who's Who in High School Sports in both 1998 and 1997. Member of 1997 high school team that were regional and sectional champions. Batted .402 with 28 stolen bases, six doubles and three triples in 1999. Member of Whiteford Sharks club team for six years and played for a national champion.

Personal: Member of National Honor Society. Involved in community service. Hobbies include traveling, skiing and being with friends. Her favorite athlete is Mark Grace. Her favorite vacation spot is Ft. Myers, Fla. Lists her parents as the people she most admires. Majoring in advertising. Hopes to pursue a career in business. Born on February 5, 1981. Parents are Chuck and Kathy Cannizzo.
