Prep Highlights: Named honorable mention all-conference her senior year. Two-time Star Newspapers Athlete of the Week. In 1997 batted .261 with one triple and five runs batted in. Played on club team Wild Thang from 1995-97. Her club team placed first at the 1996 Rockford Invitational. In 1997 that team placed sixth at Regionals.

Personal: Member of Kinesiology Student Association. Belongs to Physical Therapy Club. Her favorite athlete is Mark Grace. Lists Florida as her favorite vacation spot. Enjoys playing volleyball and rollerblading. Majoring in kinesiology. Hopes to pursue a career in physical therapy. Born on Oct. 7, 1979. Parents are Michael and Joanne Gardner.
