Soifer enters his first season as the Director of Operations for the men's gymnastics team. The 2017 graduate of the University of Washington was team captain of the UW Gymnastics Club team a year ago and was also named captain of the United States team that earned a silver medal at the 2017 Maccabiah Games under Illini coach Dan Ribeiro. At the games, Soifer earned a bronze medal in both pommel horse and all-around competition.
