2022-23 FRESHMAN (AT ARIZONA)

  • Pac-12 All-Freshman Team Honorable Mention
  • Named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week on March 6 after his 14-point efforts at USC and UCLA
  • Played in all 35 games off the bench, averaging 15 minutes per game
  • Scored 4.6 points per game while grabbing 1.6 rebounds and dishing out 1.6 assists per game
  • Shot 45% overall from the field and 39% from the 3-point line (30-77)
  • Over the final six games of the season, he was 11 of 17 from the 3-point line, including a 4 of 6 effort at UCLA (3/4)
  • Scored eight points and had five assists in his collegiate debut against Nicholls (11/7)
  • Had four points and five assists in his second game against Southern (11/11)
  • Against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (12/13), he tallied eight points, seven rebounds and eight assists
  • Finished with nine points, six rebounds and six assists versus Washington (1/5), becoming the first Arizona freshman to put those numbers up in a game since Jason Gardner in 1999

HIGH SCHOOL

  • Attended AZ Compass Prep in Phoenix, where he averaged 14 points per game as a junior

  • Chose Illinois because of the “opportunity to come back home and play in front of my family, and Coach Brad’s philosophy of winning in everything you do.”
