• Finished career as a senior at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Ill., playing for coach Matt Battaglia
• All-Chicago Catholic League and honorable mention all-state selection
• IHSFCA Class 5A All-Academic team member 
• Introduced to football as a freshman and sophomore at Bosqueville High School in Waco, Texas
• Transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., as a junior
• Played basketball (two seasons) and competed in track & field (three seasons) during high school career
• Member of National Honor Society

• Born on Nov. 3, 2004
• Son of Ruud Engbers and Kirsten Olderiekerink
• Three sisters, Janneke, Noortje, and Charlie
• Netherlands citizen but was born in Singapore
• Also lived in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea before moving to the U.S. with his family
• Chose Illinois because of, “The mix of great academics and great competition in football."
• Majoring in general studies
