Made 26 appearances, including 15 starts and three complete games • Third on team in strikeouts with 63 • Picked up first career win in an eight-inning 1-0 duel against Eastern Illinois • Also had a season-high 11 strikeouts in the same game • Mardi Gras Classic All-Tournament Team.

Lettered in softball four years and volleyball two years • Named Freshman of the Year and Pitcher of the Year • Holds record for most strikeouts in a game with 17 • Coached by Heather Damron.

How did you start playing softball?: I'm pretty sure my dad threw some cleats on, bought me the "prettiest" batting gloves and bat and said..lets go!
What do you like most about being a Fighting Illini?: I get to be with my family every day and work hard doing what we love to do.
