Sophomore - 2015

  • Started all 61 games at third base, hitting .245 with 30 RBI, 23 runs and a home run
  • Hit .364 during the Champaign Regional (5/29-6/1), driving in five runs and scoring three times
  • Tied a career-high with two doubles against Nebraska (5/15)
  • Recorded career-best runs (3) vs. Rutgers (5/10)
  • Tied career-best RBI (2) at Ohio State (5/1)

  • Great-uncle, Larry "Moose" Calufetti, played baseball at Southern Illinois from 1970-73 for former SIU and Illinois head coach Richard "Itch" Jones and played professionally in the New York Mets' organization from 1973-76
  • Older brother, Reid, is his teammate on the Illlini
  • Hobby is deer hunting
  • Favorite athlete is Tim Tebow
  • Majoring in elementary education
  • Plans to teach after graduation
  • Lists his father as the person who most influenced his athletic career because he always worked with him and taught him everything he knows
