AT ILLINOIS
2011 - Senior: Played in 16 games, starting two at designated hitter ... Hit .167 (3-for-18) on the season with two doubles, four RBIs and three runs ... Drove in the winning run by drawing a bases-loaded walk against Indiana State (March 25) ... Recorded his first hit of the season as a pinch-hitter at Penn State (April 3) ... Started and went 0-for-3 but stole a base and scored a run against Iowa (April 8) ... Was 1-for-1 with a double against Southern Illinois (May 3) ... Drove in a run with a sacrifice fly against Illinois College (May 4) ... Went 1-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and a run against Ohio State (May 7) ... Pinch-ran for Brandon Hohl in the Big Ten Tournament opener against Ohio State (May 26) and scored the tying run in a game that Illinois went on to win, 5-4 ... Academic All-Big Ten honoree.

2010 - Junior: Played in four games, going 1-for-5 (.200) ... Recorded his first career hit, a triple, against Butler on May 5 ... Also drove in three runs and scored against Butler ... Played for Sultans of Springfield in the summer of 2009, which became league champions of the Springfield Collegiate Baseball Summer League ... Played at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville before transferring to Illinois ... Earned a spot on the Illini as a walk-on following open tryouts held in September 2009.
