• Recorded multiple strikeouts in 12 of his 20 appearances
• Shut down the Cornhuskers in 3.1 innings of work, picking up five strikeouts while allowing just one hit and no walks (May 5)
• Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after throwing 2.1 scoreless innings with four strikeouts against Gonzaga (March 11)
