  • Was named Big Ten Player of the Week on April 1 after slashing .533/.632/1.333 along with a 1.964 OPS during the Illini's three-game sweep of Penn State from March 29-30...homered twice on March 30 vs. Penn State, driving in a total of six runs.
  • Earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors again on April 15 following the Illini's sweep of Northern Illinois from April 12-14...went 7-for-11 (.636) with four home runs and 11 RBI...on April 14, went 3-for-4 at the plate with three runs scored, three home runs and eight RBI...first-career three-home run game while also setting a new career high in RBI...was one of two Illini batters to homer three times in that contest (Westcott).

REDSHIRT JUNIOR - 2023

  • Slashed .284/.405/.649/1.054 in 39 games, 38 starts in his first season at Illinois...would have led the team in OPS if he had qualified (min. 2 PA/G + 75% GP).
  • Slugged 14 home runs, which ranked second on the team, and drove in 40 runs (4th).
  • Had first-career two home run game on March 18 vs. Southern Illinois.
  • Picked up at least one RBI in a season-high five-straight games from March 4-19...had four games with two RBI during that span.
  • Collected career-high four RBI on April 2 vs. Michigan...later matched that mark on April 21 vs. Minnesota.
  • Crushed an eighth-inning go-ahead three-run home run on April 14 vs. Indiana.
  • Launched a walk-off two-run home run against Minnesota on April 23...also posted his second multi-homer game of the season in that contest.
