Former Illinois pitcher Quinn Snarskis joined the Fighting Illini staff as a student assistant coach for 2020. Snarskis pitched for the Illini in 2018 and 2019, going 6-2 with a 3.50 ERA in 22 appearances and 17 starts.

Snarskis graduated in May 2019 from the University of Illinois with a degree in communication. He is pursuing a graduate degree in strategic brand communication from the College of Business and College of Media.

The transfer from St. Joseph’s College joined Illinois for his final two collegiate seasons in 2018 and 2019.
