Senior - 2015

  • First-team All-Big Ten outfielder (second career honor - third-team in 2014)
  • Hit .326 with 48 runs, three home runs and 33 RBI
  • Ranked fifth in the Big Ten in walks (35), 10th in on-base percentage (.423) and runs (48) and 14th in hits (74)
  • Had a hit in all five games of the NCAA Tournament, notching four hits during the NCAA Regional and two hits during the NCAA Super Regional
  • Drew five walks during the Big Ten Tournament (5/20-23)
  • Big Ten Player of the Week (April 20-26) after hitting .500

  • Headlined the Louisville Slugger National Players of the Week list from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, was recognized as a Week 12 Top Performer on NCAA.com and was selected as the Big Ten Player of the Week on May 6
  • Hit .471 (8-for-17) with two walk-off winners, five home runs, 10 RBI and a 1.353 slugging percentage to lead Illinois to a perfect 4-0 record from April 30-May 4
  • Had third consecutive game-winning hit with a bases-loaded, two-run single in the sixth inning at Iowa (5/9)
  • Notched second consecutive walk-off hit with a two-run single against Michigan State (5/4)
  • Went 3-for-5 with two home runs and slapped his first career walk-off hit with an RBI single in the 10th inning against Michigan State (5/3)
  • Became seventh Illini to hit three home runs in a game when he went deep three times and finished 3-for-4 with a career-high five RBI vs. Southern Illinois (4/30)
  • Hit .400 (4-for-10) to lead the Illini at the Big Ten Tournament
  • Had a career-long seven-game hitting streak from May 3-16: 12-for-31 (.387)
  • Went 3-for-7 (.429) with three RBI during the Indiana series
  • Hit first career home run as an Illini vs. Xavier (3/22) and excelled during the Xavier series, hitting .500 with three runs, three doubles, a home run and two RBI

At Kankakee Community College

  • Played two years for the Cavaliers and was a two-time NJCAA All-American, earning a third-team honors in 2012 and 2013
  • Two-time first-team All-Region IV selection
  • Drove in 69 RBI in 2013, ranking as the second-highest total in NJCAA Division II baseball
  • Hit .381 and led the Cavaliers with 65 hits, 23 doubles and a .529 slugging percentage as a sophomore outfielder
  • Also served as the team closer in 2013, racking up eight saves with a 0.71 ERA
  • Hit .397 with 58 RBI as a freshman designated hitter at KCC
  • His 127 career RBI rank as the second-most in KCC history
  • Also played two years for the Danville Dans in the Prospect League, where he was twice named an All-Star.

High School

  • Hit .450 as a senior while posting a 4-2 record, 3.45 ERA and 48 strikeouts on the mound
  • Named 2010 Commercial-News Baseball Player of the Year as a junior, batting .516 with 41 RBIs and 48 hits and compiling a 9-2 record, 2.02 ERA and 93 strikeouts
  • Earned all-county and all-conference honors as a junior and senior
  • Four-year letterwinner in baseball and also played basketball, football and golf.

  • Parents are Darrin and Sheila Fletcher
  • Father, Darrin, was an All-American baseball player at Illinois and lettered from 1985-87 before beginning a 13-year MLB career
  • Grandfather, Tom, lettered for the Illini in 1962 and reached the MLB
  • Has two siblings, a sister, Preslie, and a brother, Koby
  • Favorite athlete is LeBron James
  • Majoring in communication
  • Plans to pursue coaching at the collegiate level following graduation.
