AT ILLINOIS
2012 - Redshirt-Junior: Played in 29 games, starting 15 at designated hitter ... Started nine games in the No. 9 spot in the order, four in the No. 7 spot and two in the No. 8 spot ... Went 3-for-5 while starting both ends of a doubleheader against Connecticut and Oregon State on March 10, stealing two bases and scoring two runs ... Went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and a run against Northern Illinois on March 17 ... Hit his first career home run at Nebraska on March 24 ... Went 2-for-6 with a double, five RBIs and a run in consecutive starts against Illinois State and Mississippi Valley State on March 27 and 30, respectively ... Academic All-Big Ten selection.

2011 - Redshirt-Sophomore: Played in 11 games with two starts ... Hit .143 (2-for-14) on the season with five runs scored and one double ... Started at DH and went 2-for-7 with a double and two runs scored in the final two games of the Western Kentucky series ... Also scored runs against Illinois State (3/30), Illinois College (5/4) and Ohio State (5/7) ... Played for the Wisconsin Rapids River Rafters of the Northwoods League along with Illini teammate Brandon Hohl during the summer.

2009 - Freshman: Redshirted the 2009 season ... Played for the Crystal Lake Cardinals of the Chicago Suburban Baseball League during the summer ... Helped Crystal Lake to a franchise-best 51-15 record and a Metro Collegiate League title ... The Cardinals also won the 2009 National Amateur Baseball Federation College World Series in Toledo, Ohio.
