  • Cousin, Denny Stark, made a combined 73 appearances over six years with the Colorado Rockies and Seattle Mariners.
  • Chose Illinois because, "I am a high-energy guy and knew my play style would thrive here. From our first phone call, coach Christ brought the energy and made it known that this was Illinois baseball."
