- Chose Illinois because, "It was the perfect fit athletically and academically. I am someone who values my academics and my athletics equally. I was really impressed with the coaching staff, facilities and campus. Illinois has a prestigious business school, which is my intended major. Illinois also plays high-level Big 10 baseball, which I am looking forward to."
- Pursuing degrees in finance and accountancy.
