• Ranked as the No. 3 player in the state of Iowa according to Prep Baseball Report and also the No. 2 right handed pitcher.

• Born on July 12, 2004.
• Son of Ryan and Colette O'Donnell.
• Has one sister, Reese.
• Chose Illinois because, "It was the perfect fit athletically and academically. I am someone who values my academics and my athletics equally. I was really impressed with the coaching staff, facilities and campus. Illinois has a prestigious business school, which is my intended major. Illinois also plays high-level Big 10 baseball, which I am looking forward to."
• Plans on majoring in business.
