- Wants to work with prosthetics in some capacity after graduation
- Chose Illinois because, “after the Minnesota men's gymnastics program got cut I knew I wanted to keep doing the sport. Whenever I was getting recruited, Illinois was my second choice, so a bit of me always wanted to compete for the team. I also saw myself as a great fit for the team with the events I compete. I also knew a couple of the guys on the team and my old assistant coach was an alumnus.”
