Illinois Volleyball Releases 2026 Promotional Schedule

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois volleyball has announced its 2026 promotional schedule, with a number of events and giveaways set for 13 home matches at Huff Hall this season.
Highlights for the 2026 campaign include the inaugural Hail to the Blue Out match on Sept. 9 against Lindenwood, an Olympic Day as Jordyn Poulter returns to campus on Sept. 13, the 20th edition of Stuff Huff against Wisconsin on Oct. 8, our annual pink match against Michigan State on Oct. 15, and Hail to the Orange Out on Oct. 18 against Michigan.

Friday, Aug. 28, vs. Cincinnati | 7 p.m. CT
Back 2 School Block Party & Tailgate - Join Fighting Illini volleyball as we kick off the 2026 season at Huff Hall against Cincinnati! Pregame festivities include inflatables, face painting, a balloon artist, and food trucks, located in the south lawn of Huff Hall!
Sunday, Aug. 30, vs. Syracuse | 12 p.m. CT
Brunch at Huff - Join Illinois volleyball for an early match to conclude the first weekend of the season!
Giveaway - Early-arriving fans can receive an Illinois volleyball coffee mug, while free donuts will be available for the first 100 students!
Wednesday, Sept. 9, vs. Lindenwood | 7 p.m. CT
First Responders Night - Join the Illinois volleyball team as we honor the brave men and women who keep our community safe each day.
Hail to the Blue Out - Paint Huff Hall blue! All fans are encouraged to wear blue.
Sunday, Sept. 13, vs. Marquette | 3 p.m. CT
USA/Olympic Day - Join the Fighting Illini as we honor and celebrate Illinois volleyball alum and two-time Olympian Jordyn Poulter! Poulter returns to campus for her induction into the Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame. Fans are encouraged to wear their patriotic apparel as we recognize our two-time Olympic medalist!
Thursday, Sept. 24, vs. Minnesota | 7 p.m. CT
Greek Night - Join Fighting Illini Volleyball for Greek Night, where fraternities, sororities, and fans come together for an energetic evening of competition while supporting the Orange and Blue! Gather your chapter, wear your letters, and help create an unforgettable atmosphere at Huff Hall.
Pool Party - Join Fighting Illini Volleyball for a pool party-themed match filled with summer vibes and tons of Illini spirit! Grab your swimsuit, bring your friends, and get ready to make a splash while cheering on the Illini.
Big Ten Opener - Join the Illinois volleyball team as it takes on the Minnesota Golden Gophers for the Illini's first Big Ten match of the season.
Saturday, Sept. 26, vs. USC | 7 p.m. CT
Neon Night - Join Fighting Illini Volleyball for Neon Night, where the stands light up with bright colors and high energy! Wear your brightest neon, bring your friends, and get ready to glow while cheering on the Orange and Blue.
Thursday, Oct. 8, vs. Wisconsin | 7:30 p.m. CT
Stuff Huff - Stuff Huff, one of the most popular Illini traditions and renowned for its vast crowds, returns for its 20th iteration.
Giveaway - Select fans will receive a free beanie featuring a commemorative Stuff Huff logo.
Thursday, Oct. 15, vs. Michigan State | 6 p.m. CT
Pink Match - The annual Illini Pink Match in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and join the fight against breast cancer.
Sunday, Oct. 18, vs. Michigan | 1 p.m. CT
Hail to the Orange Out - Paint Huff Hall orange! All fans are encouraged to wear orange.
Thursday, Oct. 29, vs. Northwestern | 8 p.m. CT
Haunted Huff - Join the Fighting Illini and celebrate Halloween with 4,000 of your closest friends! Fans are encouraged to wear your Halloween costumes for a night filled with tricks, treats, and Illinois volleyball!
Sunday, Nov. 1, vs. Ohio State | 12 p.m. CT
Camper Reunion/Kids Day - Campers who attended Fighting Illini volleyball camps this year will receive a free ticket to the match.
Thursday, Nov. 5, vs. UCLA | 7 p.m. CT
Huff Hoedown - Join Fighting Illini Volleyball as we celebrate our Midwestern culture! Grab your friends, dress in your best country gear, and get ready to two-step your way through an unforgettable night of volleyball.
Most Valuable Professor Night - Illini volleyball would be nothing without the amazing professors who help our student-athletes. The team celebrates the real MVPs on Most Valuable Professor night.
Saturday, Nov. 14, vs. Penn State | 7 p.m. CT
Senior Night - Join the Illinois volleyball team as we honor the senior class for their hard work and dedication to Fighting Illini volleyball.
