May 20, 2026 (New York, NY): Today, dance music powerhouse John Summit announced his North American CTRL ESCAPE arena tour. The expansive run will bring Summit's boundary-pushing album to life on his biggest run of shows to date. The artist presale kicks off Wednesday, May 27th at 10am local through Thursday, May 28th at 8am local. Kicking off in October, Summit will make stops at major arenas across the country including Champaign, Chicago, Miami, Brooklyn, Boston, and more. The tour will feature a new production concept that reflects Summit's forward thinking approach, creating a larger than life atmosphere and immersive experience for this next era. CTRL ESCAPE, released earlier this year (April 15, tax day nonetheless), pushes boundaries by fusing a wide array of genres, from heavy-hitting tech-house flair to dubstep, drum & bass, and other broader influences. Taken as a whole, the body of work acts as a portrait of John Summit's life right now — the relentless touring, the stadium gigs that butt right up against the intimate shows he keeps doing in order to maintain a connection to his day one fans, but it's also designed to be played out in rooms of all sizes. In the lead-up to the album, Summit delivered a series of standout pop-ups across Los Angeles, New York City, and Colorado—selling out Reframe Studios in LA, partnering with Spotify and LinkedIn at NYC's HALO, and headlining a sold-out open-to-close set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. He capped the run with a takeover of the Do LaB stage at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and delivered a historic closing set on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival.
Following the album release, Summit headed internationally with performances in Bali, Indonesia at Day Zero Festival, Bangkok, Thailand, Palm Tree Music Festival Singapore, and Ultra South Africa. He then returned to headline Breakaway Music Festival Atlanta and EDC Las Vegas.
Summit will make his Ibiza residency debut this summer, headlining nine Mondays at [UNVRS] Ibiza kicking off June 1, before returning stateside for a hometown headline performance at Lollapalooza. In the EU/UK, he will also headline Tomorrowland, and host an Experts Only U.K. show at Tofte Manor with Labyrinth Events. In September, Summit returns to New York City for the highly anticipated return of the Experts Only Festival following its sold-out 2025 debut.
Last September, Summit hosted New York City's largest dance music festival, Experts Only, drawing over 50,000 fans and featuring a massive lineup including Kaskade B2B Cassian, Green Velvet B2B Layton Giordani, LP Giobbi, and AYYBO. He additionally lit up major stages around the world with explosive performances at Lollapalooza Paris and Germany, Ultra Europe, and two headlining sets at Austin City Limits Festival. He also delivered his biggest U.K. show to date at London's O2 Arena before closing out the year with a sold-out performance at Folsom Field (University of Colorado in Boulder's stadium).
