The Fighting Illini enter the Big Ten Tournament with a 28-25 record and a 14-16 mark in Big Ten play.
Cole Warehime posted his third three-hit day of the season, going 3-for-4 while tallying his first Big Ten home run on a solo shot in the fifth. J.R. Nelson went 2-for-3 at the plate with a solo homer, his third long ball of the year.
