BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Illinois fell in its series opener at Indiana, 10-4, on Thursday night at Bart Kaufman Field.
Michael Farina and Nick Groves both posted two-hit days at the top of the Illini lineup, while Groves added two RBI. All nine Orange and Blue hitters reached base in the defeat.
Mitch Dye threw four innings in relief and struck out four.
