Illinois Adds 2027 Home Game Against Delaware

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The Illinois football team will host Delaware in a nonconference matchup in 2027, the program announced Wednesday. The game is scheduled for Sept. 11, 2027 at Gies Memorial Stadium.
The game will be the first meeting between the Fighting Illini and Blue Hens.
2026 Scheduling Update
The Big Ten announced Monday that the 2026 football schedule will be released live on Big Ten Network on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 4:30 p.m. CT.
