CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Illinois women's basketball game against Bellarmine will now take place on Tuesday, December 2, from State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois.Â
The nonconference meeting marks the first-ever game between the two programs. The Knights enter their sixth season at the Division I level in 2025-26.
Bellarmine marks one of three teams from Kentucky coming to State Farm Center this season. Murray State (Nov. 18), Western Kentucky (Nov. 26), and Bellarmine (Dec. 2) are all scheduled to make trips to Champaign.
ABOUT THE ILLINI
Illinois enters Year 4 under head coach Shauna Green and has compiled a 38-11 record at home over the last three seasons, including four upsets of AP top-25 ranked teams: No. 12 Iowa (1/1/23), No. 14 Indiana (2/19/24), No. 19 Florida State (11/7/24), and No. 23 Iowa (1/9/25).
In three seasons under Green, the Illinois women's basketball team has registered 63 wins, the first-ever postseason championship in program history (2024 WBIT), and three consecutive top-5 season attendances in State Farm Center. Additionally, the Illini have racked up six AP Top 25-ranked wins, secured double-digit home victories for three straight seasons for the first time in program history, won Illinois' first NCAA Tournament game in 25 seasons, and brought in the No. 7-ranked recruiting class by espnW coming in for the 2025-26 campaign.

Season tickets for the 2025-26 Fighting Illini women's basketball campaign are on sale now. Less than 100 reserved-seat season tickets remain available as of September 24. Once reserved-seat tickets are gone, all remaining season tickets will be general admission.
