CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois soccer head coach Katie Hultin announced the addition of Sutton Webb (Salisbury, N.C.) to the Fighting Illini roster for the 2025 season.

- 2024 SEC champion
- Made 11 appearances for Mississippi State in 2024...tallied three shots, putting two on frame
- Made 12 appearances for the Bulldogs in 2023, logging 213 total minutes
- Redshirted at Georgia in 2022
- Played for Salisbury High School and Charlotte Independence…also played for Charlotte Independence's USL W League club in 2022, scoring the team's first-ever goal
- Twice named to the North Carolina All-State Team…three-time all-region and all-conference selection
- Earned two Central Carolina Conference Offensive Player of the Year awards…twice named Rowan County Player of the Year
- Finished high school career with 137 goals, setting school and county records, along with 44 assists
- Named to the 2021 ECNL U17 All-Conference Mid-Atlantic Region First Team
Webb joins the Illini following two years at Mississippi State, where she featured in 11 games for the 2024 SEC regular season champions. The Salisbury, N.C., native, appeared in 23 contests for the Bulldogs, logging 308 total minutes and recording three shots, two on goal.
