Illini Soccer Adds Transfer Myra Schneider

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois soccer head coach Katie Hultin announced the addition of Myra Schneider (Acton, Calif.) to the Fighting Illini roster for the 2025 season.

ABOUT SCHNEIDER

  • Made 12 appearances and five starts at Oregon in 2023, scoring one goal on six shots
  • Missed the 2024 at Kentucky due to injury
  • U.S. Soccer Youth National Team Training Center (June 4th 2019)
  • Girls DA Spring Showcase U14/15 Best XI (Top Drawer) (May 8th, 2019)

Schneider joins the Illini after spending 2024 at Kentucky sidelined due to injury. During her freshman season at Oregon in 2023, Schneider made 12 appearances, including five starts, for the Ducks, scoring one goal on six shots.
