URBANA, Ill. -- Illinois fell to Washington, 17-5, in a five-inning affair at Eichelberger Field on Friday.
The Fighting Illini dropped to 13-17 on the year and 1-5 in conference play. The Huskies improved to 26-9 overall and 4-2 in Big Ten play.
Paige Berkmeyer's two extra-base hits were the highlight of a 2-for-2 day, and included two doubles, a walk and an RBI. Eileen Donahue put together a standout performance at the plate as well, going 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.
