CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Fighting Illini women's golf continues its spring trip on Friday at the Florida State Match Up at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla., hosted by Florida State University. The three-day tournament will be played on Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 23.
THE SETTING
The Florida State Match Up is held at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla. The course was designed by architect Bill Amick in 1962 and recently underwent renovations in 2020, led by the Nicklaus Design Group. The course will be set up for a par 72 and will play 6,250 yards long.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
There will be 13 teams competing in the 54-hole tournament. Friday and Saturday will feature 7:45 a.m. CT tee times and Sunday tee times start at 7:00 a.m. CT, with 18 holes of play each day.
THE FIELD
Along with the Illini, the 13-team field for the Florida State Match Up will include Abilene Christian, Alabama, Chattanooga, FIU, Florida State, Houston, Indiana, Kent State, Missouri, North Florida, Troy and Tulane.

This will be the first time that the Fighting Illini will be competing at the Florida State Match Up.

UP NEXT
