LOS ANGELES – The Fighting Illini dropped their final road match of the regular season at #16 USC on Saturday night at the Galen Center.
Alyssa Aguayo finished with a team-high eight kills while swinging at a .250 clip. She also posted five digs and an assist.
Averie Hernandez equaled her season-high with seven kills while also adding four digs and an ace.
Kenna Phelan came one dig shy of another double-double, ending the evening with 22 assists and nine digs.
Taylor de Boer and Ashlyn Philpot each registered six kills, while Taryn Kirsch tallied a team-most 10 digs. Gabby Dean logged five kills.
