Kenna Phelan helped lead the Fighting Illini back into the win column last week with a key Big Ten victory over visiting Washington on Friday at Huff Hall. In the win vs. the Huskies, Phelan filled up the stat sheet with 41 assists and 10 digs for her eighth double-double of the season, while adding five kills, five blocks, and two aces. On Saturday night vs. 11th-ranked Wisconsin, Phelan posted 35 assists, nine digs, and one ace.
Phelan, from Fayetteville, Ark., is junior majoring in studio art at Illinois.
