ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Network (BTN) announced their broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 wrestling season on Wednesday (Oct. 29). The preseason No. 13 Fighting Illini will appear on BTN three times this season. First, on Sunday (Jan. 18) at 1 p.m. for their dual at No. 9 Michigan, next they host Indiana on Friday (Jan. 30) at 9 p.m. and finally on Sunday (Feb. 15) at Northwestern at 1 p.m. CT to close out the regular season.
The Illini were on BTN twice last season where they defeated Indiana 34-3 in Indianapolis at the inaugural Big Ten Takedown event and fell to No. 2 Iowa 28-6 on Jan. 17. The Orange and Blue last wrestled Michigan on Jan. 26, 2020, in Champaign where Illinois won the dual 20-13.
