Stats and notes from former Illini in the NFL during Week 8 of the 2025 season:

Isaiah Adams, OL, Arizona Cardinals - The Arizona Cardinals did not play this week due to their scheduled BYE.

Tony Adams, DB, New York Jets - Participated in 16 special team and 10 defensive snaps while recording a solo tackle in the Jets' 39-38 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Nick Allegretti, OL, Washington Commanders - Participate in one special teams snap in the Commanders' 28-7 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Chase Brown, RB, Cincinnati Bengals - Started at HB and participated in 32 offensive snaps while recording 73 rushing yards on 12 carries and 32 receiving yards on three receptions in the Bengals' 39-38 loss against the New York Jets.

Sydney Brown, DB, Philadelphia Eagles - Participated in 21 special team and seven defensive snaps while logging a solo tackle in the Eagles' 38-20 win over the New York Giants.  

Pat Bryant, WR, Denver Broncos - Started at WR and participated in 35 offensive and five special team snaps while recording a tackle and 40 receiving yards on two receptions in the Broncos' 44-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Tommy DeVito, QB, New England Patriots - Not active in the Patriots' 32-13 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Jake Hansen, LB, Houston Texans - Participated in 18 special team snaps while recording a tackle in the Texans' 26-15 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Nate Hobbs, DB, Green Bay Packers - Participated in four defensive snaps in the Packers' 35-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Kerby Joseph, DB, Detroit Lions - The Detroit Lions did not play this week due to their scheduled BYE.

Ted Karras, OL, Cincinnati Bengals - Started at C and participated in all 59 offensive and six special team snaps in the Bengals' 39-38 loss against the New York Jets.

Vederian Lowe, OL, New England Patriots - Participated in six special team snaps in the Patriots' 32-13 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Quan Martin, DB, Washington Commanders -  Started at SS and participated in all 69 defensive and six special team snaps while recording 14 tackles including 10 solo in the Commanders' 28-7 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Chase McLaughlin, K, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Participated in 11 special team snaps while making all three field-goal attempts and both extra-point attempts in the Buccaneers' 23-2 win over the New Orleans Saints. 

Jer'Zhan Newton, DL, Washington Commanders - Participated in 17 defensive and one special team snap while logging four tackles and two QB hits the Commanders' 28-7 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Alex Palczewski, OL, Denver Broncos - Started at LG and participated in all 63 offensive and six special team snaps in the Broncos' 44-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Del'Shawn Phillips, LB, Los Angeles Chargers - Participated in 18 special team and 10 defensive snaps in the Chargers' 37-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Dawuane Smoot, DL, Jacksonville Jaguars - The Jacksonville Jaguars did not play this week due to their scheduled BYE.

Jihad Ward, DL, Tennessee Titans - Started at OLB and participated in 43 defensive snaps while recording a solo tackle in the Titans' 38-14 loss against the Indianapolis Colts.

Casey Washington, WR, Atlanta Falcons - Participated in four offensive snaps while recording 25 receiving yards on one reception in the Falcons' 34-10 loss against the Miami Dolphins.

Isaiah Williams, WR, New York Jets - Participated in 30 offensive and 10 special team snaps while logging 31 receiving yards on three receptions and a 25-yard rush, while also recording 132 kick return yards and 38 punt return yards in the Jets' 39-38 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Devon Witherspoon, CB, Seattle Seahawks - The Seattle Seahawks did not play this week due to their scheduled BYE.
