Illinois Softball Announces Addition of Lizzie Stiverson

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois Softball head coach Tyra Perry announced Lizzie Stiverson as the newest member of the Fighting Illini softball squad for the 2025 campaign. Stiverson spent the last two seasons at Parkland College.

Notes: Transfer from Parkland College… As a Freshman, named NFCA NJCAA DII Rawlings Gold Glove Winner… Received NJCAA All-Region 24 Team and MWAC All-Conference First Team honors… Appeared in 61 games, producing 65 hits, 56 runs, 30 RBI, 14 walks and 22 stolen bases… Slashed .357/.522/.418 with 10 doubles, four triples and four home runs… During her sophomore campaign, made 24 appearances with 69 hits and 62 runs… Logged 23 doubles, three triples, 13 home runs and 61 RBI… Slashed .412/.824/.502… Teammates with Illinois signee Karley Yergler at Parkland College… Daughter of Karen and Eric Stiverson… Grandfather Jerry, Aunt Vicky, Uncle Chris and Cousin Katie attended Illinois... Names father as most influential figure in her athletic career... Enjoys playing pickleball, basketball and building Legos.

Coach Perry on Stiverson: "Lizzie Stiverson is a valuable addition to our program. She will bring a wealth of experience and a strong work ethic cultivated during her time at Parkland College. Lizzie is a competitor, and she will shine in Orange and Blue."
