CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois women's gymnastics head coach Nadalie Walsh has added Ashlyn Doyle and Marly Esteves to the 2025 roster.
Doyle and Esteves join four other Class of 2024 signees who were announced in November: Kennedy Brown, Chloe Cho, Mya Gordon and Eden King.
"Adding Marly and Ashlyn to our roster will benefit the culture and competitiveness of the team immediately," Walsh said. "Both of these young ladies have incredible character, work ethic and their gymnastics is solid and clean. They will make an immediate impact. Marly excels on bars and floor while Ashlyn is outstanding on vault and beam. I truly see them both having the potential to be developed into collegiate all-around contributors. We are excited to be welcoming them to our program."
Ashlyn Doyle | All-Around | Club: Champion Gymnastics USA

Doyle is a three-time national qualifier and placed first on vault and third on floor at the 2024 Michigan state championships.
The Grand Rapids, Mich., native also placed first on vault, third on floor, and third in all-around at the 2023 regional championships. Doyle took ninth on vault at the 2023 National Development Program.
She chose Illinois for "the tremendous support they give to their athletes to become the best version of themselves. The team culture is very strong, and when I came to the campus, it felt like home."
Marly Esteves | All-Around | Club: Gold Medal Gymnastics

Hailing from Scottsdale, Ariz., Esteves is a Level 10 gold medalist and a 2024 floor and vault state champion. She also placed first on floor at the Arizona Grand meet.
