My name is Paige Berkmeyer, and I am a junior catcher from Wadsworth, Ohio. I am majoring in Animal Science with plans to attend graduate school soon.
This past weekend we opened Big Ten conference play in Lincoln, Neb., where we took on the Cornhuskers. We were able to reflect from each pitch and from each game so we can be unstoppable for the rest of the season.
This week we will play all home games! It is always exciting to play at Eichelberger Field and see all the familiar and new faces cheering us on. The weather looks beautiful this weekend as we take on Minnesota in a three-game series. The team cannot wait to get back at it and show the conference who we are.
Hope to see everyone out at Eichelberger this season!
