Fighting Illini Fall to Washington

RECAP

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois fell to Washington, 84-75, at State Farm Center on Tuesday afternoon.

The loss ended the Fighting Illini's 13-game home winning streak, the second-longest such stretch in program history.

Genesis Bryant finished with a game-high 32 points, which equaled her career-best scoring output. Bryant made four 3-pointers and went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line. Scoring in double figures for the sixth-straight contest, she also grabbed six rebounds, dished out four assists, and made one steal.

Adalia McKenzie tallied 13 points, five rebounds, and an assist, while she made two and-1 baskets in the third quarter.

Kendall Bostic reached double figures in scoring for the 12th-straight game, registering 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

Brynn Shoup-Hill amassed five points, four rebounds, and a career-high four assists.

Illinois' first game of the 2025 calendar year is set for Sunday afternoon, when the Fighting Illini head north to take on Minnesota away from home. The Orange and Blue will square off with the Golden Gophers in Minneapolis at 2 p.m. CT on B1G+.
