CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Big Ten Network (BTN) announced their broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 wrestling season on Thursday (Oct. 17). The preseason No. 12 Fighting Illini will appear on BTN twice this season. First, on Friday (Dec. 6) at 4 p.m. for their dual at No. 30 Indiana and on Friday (Jan. 17, 2025) at 6 p.m. CT when they travel to Iowa City, Iowa to take on the No. 2 Hawkeyes.
The Illini were on BTN once last season when they hosted Iowa in Huff Hall on Jan. 26, 2024; they'll be seeking to avenge their 36-6 loss they suffered that Friday night. The Orange and Blue last wrestled the Hoosiers on Feb. 6, 2022, in Champaign where they steamrolled them in a 36-3 triumph.Â
