URBANA, Ill. - Due to inclement weather, Illinois softball's Big Ten opener against Rutgers has been suspended following the fourth inning. 

The game will resume at Eichelberger Field in the top of the fifth inning on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the contest tied, 2-2. Saturday's scheduled game against the Scarlet Knights will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game.

Sunday's series finale with Rutgers is slated for noon.
