Hey Illini fans! 
 

My name is Reese Hunkins and I am a freshmen infielder from Huntley, Illinois. I am currently an undeclared major; however, the university has many amazing academic opportunities to help me in the journey to find a major. 

The time is coming up! First game day is in the Sunshine State on February 10th, and the team could not be more hyped! This past week we continued to grind on and off the softball field. We got the chance to learn more about our amazing teammates in a speed dating exercise. During this team bonding time, we had one-on-one sessions with each of our teammates for two minutes to share something unique about ourselves. We also watched more episodes of The Captain, which I highly recommend everyone check out! Ending the week with the On Deck Circle Meet and Greet was the cherry on top.

Be ready to be loud and come out to support the Fighting Illini this year!
