WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Illinois women's golf team finished the Landfall Tradition in 10th after carding a final round 297 (+9) at the Country Club of Landfall.

Isabel Sy recorded a third-straight Top 5 finish after carding a season-low 6-under (66) to finish in fourth. Sy tallied seven birdies on the day, giving her a tournament total of 17, tied for the most among the field. The senior becomes the second Illini golfer in as many seasons with three-straight Top 5 finishes, joining alum Crystal Wang, who accomplished that feat last season. She is also the third Illinois women's golfer since 2013 to achieve three-straight Top 5s, joinging Ember Schuldt, who did so from Sept. 16 to Oct. 20, 2013. The San Gabriel, Calif., native, also tied for the second-lowest par 4 scoring average (3.87, -4) during the tournament. Sy has fired six rounds under 70 this season.

Erica Lee collected the first Top 10 finish of her career after firing a final round 71 (-1). Lee shot under-par in all three rounds, the longest such streak of her career. The freshman added three birdies on the day, giving her a tournament total of 13, one of nine players to hit that mark. The Arcadia, Calif., native, also had the team-low scoring average on par 5s (4.67, -4).

Anna Ritter shot a 77 (+5) to finish tied for 68th, Sophia Sulkar and Lexanne Halama both carded a final-round 83 (+11) to finish tied for 77th and 94th, respectively.

Duke took home the team title with a 54-hole total of 843 (-21) and Furman's Anna Morgan was the individual medalist at 14-under (202).

The Fighting Illini will be back in action on Feb. 12 at the Nexus Collegiate, played at Albany Golf Club in New Providence, The Bahamas.
