CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini wrestling team has announced their schedule for the 2022-23 season. Illinois will compete in three non-conference tournaments, three non-conference duals and eight Big Ten duals.

They kick off the season with two of their non-conference tournaments. Starting on November 5 at the Michigan State Open in East Lansing, followed by the Tiger Style Invite on November 12 in Kansas City, Missouri. The month of November concludes with their tri meet in Albany, New York on November 18.

December 3 is the first home meet of the year in the State Farm Center and the annual Midlands Championship concludes action in December on the 29-30.

The new year rings in Big Ten competition with a road trip out to Iowa on January 6. January 8 is the first home Big Ten meet against Wisconsin, followed by Purdue on January 14. Illinois wraps up January in the following fashion: at Northwestern on Jan. 20, home against Maryland on Jan. 22 and at Minnesota on Jan. 28.

The final home meet of the year is February 3 against Nebraska and Big Ten competition concludes at Michigan State on February 5. The regular season concludes with the last non-conference dual at Iowa State on February 12.
