Hello Illini Fans!
My name is Kelly Ryono and I am a senior outfielder from Huntington Beach, California. I am currently getting my masters in Kinesiology, specifically exercise psychology. It has been a whirlwind getting back into the swing of things here on campus. I am so happy to see the buzz and livelihood of all the students being back.
I have been kept busy with not only the start of graduate school, but also getting to know the newcomers on the team and jumping right into practice. I love our freshman class and transfer, they have hit the ground running and are blending right in with the famILLy. We just finished our first week of 20 hours practice and this team is busting at the seams with talent and experience and we can't wait to show you a glimpse of Illini softball at our upcoming fall games. I know this year is going to be one for the books and I am so excited to see you all at Eichelberger Field not only this fall, but in the spring as well.Â
This team is something extraordinary, and I am so grateful and proud to be a part of it. See you all soon!
