Illinois graduate transfer Olivier Stuart received an at-large selection for the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Singles Championship, the NCAA announced today.
The 64-player singles championship will be conducted May 23-28 at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex in Champaign, Illinois, following the conclusion of the team championship. All singles players must have a minimum of 13 started singles matches, with six matches in the spring, in order to be selected as an automatic qualifier or an at-large selection
This year in the Orange and Blue Stuart finished the season at #59 in the ITA Rankings and 4-2 in conference play. This season he defeated #40 Mason Beiler (Oklahoma) at no. 1 singles and had three top-50 wins in singles with partner Siphosothando Montsi.
