LINCOLN, Neb. – Illini men's tennis fell 4-2 to Nebraska on Friday night. Illinois dropped the doubles points with loses on courts 2 and 3. Nebraska built a 3-1 lead over the Illini in singles play. No. 74 Hunter Heck put the Illini on the board with a 6-4,6-2 win over Shunya Maruyama on court 2.
Nic Meister gave the Illini a second point defeating Roni Hietarant 7-5,6-4 on court 5. Nebraska clinched the match on court 4 6-1,4-6,7-5.
