NEWS

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – University of Illinois women's basketball head coach Shauna Green announced Wednesday (April 27) the signing of Kam'Ren Rhodes.

Rhodes, a prep standout from Chandler, Ariz., originally committed to play for Green at Dayton, and will instead join the Orange and Blue as a true freshman for the 2022-23 season with four years of collegiate eligibility.

Rhodes is the fourth player to sign with Illinois since Green took over the reins of the Fighting Illini program on March 21, joining UD transfers Makira Cook and Brynn Shoup-Hill and NC State transfer Genesis Bryant.
