ORLANDO, Fla. - Illini men's tennis finished their Florida trip with a 4-3 win of the Central Florida Knights. The Illini lost the doubles point but fought back to win four singles matches. In doubles, Alec Brown and Gabrieliius Guzauskas defeated Roddick/Rubio 6-3 on court 3.
After falling behind 2-0 the Illini won three straight singles matches to take the 3-2 advantage. No. 117 Hunter Heck was the first Illini to pick up a point. He defeated #61 Trey Hilderbrand  6-4, 6-4 on court 4. Nic Meister then defeated Cooper White 6-4, 6-2 on court 6. Siphosothando Montsi gave Illinois the lead taking Lleyton Cronje to three sets and winning 6-3, 1-6, 6-2.Â
Mercer transfer Olivier Stuart clinched the match for Illinois. He defeated Bogdan Pavel 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 on court 2.Â
