CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Head coach Chris Tamas has announced the addition of Bianca May (Orland Park, Ill.) to the Illinois volleyball program on Tuesday (March 1), with May joining fall signees Cari Bohm (Ann Arbor, Michigan) and Sophie Stephenson (Seattle, Washington) in the class of 2022-23.

Notes: Plays for Adversity VBC … 2022 Under Armour All-American Selection Camp nominee … Four-Time AVCA Phenom List (2018-2021) … 2022 PrepDig Watch List … 17 Open PrepDig NLQ Watchlist … PrepVolleyball.com Soph 79 Special Mention … Helped lead her Carl Sandburg High School to an IHSA 4A Sectional Championship (Elite 8) with 374 assists, 163 digs, and 36 service aces during her sophomore year in 2019 … Three-time IHSA 4A Regional Champions in 2018, 2019 and 2021 with CSHS … Triple Qualified for USAV Nationals in 17 Open Division with her Adversity 17 Adidas team, while also helping Adversity to the 17 Open President's Day Classic Championship, a runner-up finish at the Sunshine Qualifier Open Division and a bronze medal at the USAV Girl's Junior National Championships Open.
