Hey Illini Fans!

My name is Halle Mangurten. I am a freshman infielder from Deerfield, IL planning to major in psychology and minor in business. 

We just finished our second week of the season with the Razorback Invitational at the University of Arkansas. In Fayetteville, we were able to face some more non-conference competition to test our skills. We had some tough losses to start off the weekend, but we were able to finish strong with a huge comeback win against No. 10 ranked Arkansas. Going into that last game, we came in with so much fight and a "refuse to lose" mentality. There was no doubt in our minds that we couldn't win, and we want to take this gameplan into the rest of the season. 

As we arrive back in Champaign, we could not be more excited for what lies ahead. We are off this upcoming weekend, so we are looking forward to getting after it in practice to prepare for our next tournament. As always, thank you for your amazing support and we hope to keep seeing you out there!
