Coach Perry on Caryl: "Adisyn Caryl is a multisport athlete at her high school and has the ability to play multiple positions on the softball diamond. She will join her sister, Zoe Caryl, who is currently a sophomore catcher on our team. She will also reunite with former Aces Sydney Malott and Stevie Meade. We love Adisyn's size and work ethic. She is the person that you want at the plate when the game is on the line."

Why Illinois? "I chose the University of Illinois because it will challenge me academically and athletically. I wanted to be at a place that would help develop and prepare me for the future. The culture created by the players and coaches at Illinois is unmatched and I cannot wait to be a part of this program."

Donahue Web

Eileen Donahue // Chicago, Illinois // Marist High School// Beverly Bandits // Infield // 5-8
Notes:  Named all-conference for the East Suburban Catholic Conference in 2021 and 2022… Earned First Team All-State honors by the Illinois Coaches Association… Won the Illinois High School state softball championship in 2021… Finished as the IHSA runner-up in 2022… Ranked 54th by Extra Innings Elite 100 Class of 2023 in 2022… Appeared on the watch list for the 2022 PGF Sophomores vs Juniors softball game in Huntington Beach, Calif… Enjoys baking and decorating cakes… Favorite athlete is Jocelyn Alo.

Coach Perry on Donahue: "Eileen Donahue is a dynamic player that can swing it for power but has the versatility to execute the squeeze if that's what her team needs to secure the win. She has one of the highest softball IQ's of anyone I have seen in a long time. Eileen is a high energy player with natural leadership qualities. We are excited to welcome Eileen to our squad."

Why Illinois? "I chose Illinois because I will receive a great education while being able to play softball at an elite level. The coaches and players have created a supportive environment that I look forward to being part of while earning a degree from this prestigious university. All of my relatives that have graduated from University of Illinois have become extremely successful in their careers."

Mosley Web

Delaney Mosley // Washington DC // St. John's High School // Lady Lightning Gold // Utility // 5-9
Notes:  Four-year varsity letter winner… Named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-State in 2022… Finished as the state runner-up in 2022… Favorite athlete is Aliya Andrews… Lists her father Kevin as person who has most influenced her athletic career.

Coach Perry on Mosley: "Delaney Mosley joins us from The Lady Lightning Gold, the same travel organization as All B1G Ten honorees Lauren Wiles and Kiana Sherlund. One of the first things we noticed about Delaney was her overall athleticism. When you first see her, your initial thought is that she has the build to excel in any sport. She has great range in the outfield and swings it with authority at the plate."

Why Illinois? "I chose Illinois because the second I stepped on campus, I felt a sense of home. The community on and off the field and the endless support from everyone is unreal, and I can't wait to be a part of something great."
