CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Fighting Illini wrestling squad is poised for the Arm Bar at the Armory meet hosted by Journeymen Wrestling. Illinois will wrestle NC State and Buffalo in a dual head-to-head format. They will take on Buffalo at 5:30 and NC State at 7:30 p.m. CT.  Redshirt-sophomore's Edmond Ruth (174) and Lucas Byrd (133) both took first at the Tiger Style Invite last week. 

Notes:

• Lucas Byrd defeated Connor Brown (Mizzou) by decision 7-3 to take first in 133.
• Edmond Ruth defeated Peyton Mocco (Mizzou) by decision 7-5 to win the 174 bracket. 
• 12 other Illini were place-winners last week with three being top three: Danny Braunagel (2nd, 165), Zac Braunagel (3rd, 197) and Matt Wroblewski (3rd, HWT).
