CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Rimington Trophy committee has named Illinois senior center, Doug Kramer, to its watch list. It is Kramer's second appearance on the Rimington Watch List after being selected in 2019.
Rimington Trophy
The trophy is awarded annually to the player considered to be the best center in college football. It is named after Dave Rimington who was a consensus first-team All-America center at the University of Nebraska and is the only two-time winner of the Outland Trophy. The winner of the Trophy is award to the center that receives the most first team votes.
Last three winners: Landon Dickerson (Alabama), Tyler Biadasz (Wisconsin), Garrett Bradbury (NC State)
